High Road Beeston

Beeston High RoadBeeston High Road is a bustling, pedestrianised area, creating a more pleasant experience for visitors and residents. During the summer of 2009, Beeston High Road was refurbished, creating a new contemporary design and an open and more inviting space.

Taka a stroll down the High Road and you will be able to find a great mixture of independent and high street chains, including WH Smith, Boots, New Look, Bon Marche, Ryman’s, Holland and Barrett and Iceland. A selection of cafes can also be found in and around the main shopping area, giving you the opportunity to take a break and watch the world go by in one of the many outdoor seating areas.

There is always something going on in the Square, whether this be the weekly market or a speciality Arts and Craft or Farmers Market.

The High Road is also home to the Beekeeper statue. Made from concrete and Bronze, this famous face sits and watches the shoppers of Beeston day after day and can be often seen having his photograph taken with visitors to the town!
