I Love Beeston Awards Finalists Revealed

business awardsThe judging panel for the I Love Beeston awards got together on Tuesday 7th April to choose their finalists for the upcoming awards ceremony. The panel consisted of Charlie Fogg (Charlie Foggs), Matt Goold (The Beestonian), Judy Sleath (Beeston and District Civic Society), Emily Rawcliffe (Beeston Resident) and Mike Sassi (Editor, Nottingham Post)

Following an astounding 600 nominations, the finalists of each category were narrowed down to 3 per category and are listed below;

There will also be a special “Pride of Beeston” award given out on the night. The event will take place on 23rd April at Beeston Fields Golf Course.

Winners will be announced shortly after that date.

    What a great list of Finalists. But the Community Award has to go to Lynda Lally 🙂 What a Wonderfull woman she is. She is so friendly,always smiling,always happy to help you where she can. Beeston and other Community s are grateful for the help she has given them. I love seeing Lynda in Tescos always a Smile and Hello she has time for everyone. Community Champion that is so true of Lynda. Good Luck to Lynda you are a very lovely friendly warm and inspiring lady <3

    I am disappointed to see that the Beeston and district responders have not been recognised,these guys do a valuable service to the community and have saved hundreds of life’s within the whole area and should be given some sort of award well done you guys are a credit to Beeston and the whole of Nottinghamshire.The fact these guys do it voluntary is a credit to them, God bless them and there understanding families.
